Before the project
01. A meeting is organised with the client and the interior architect to determine the requirements for the Interior Design, Layout and Decoration.
02. An inventory of fixtures is established by the interior architect before drawing the plans and the cross-sections.
03. Using the plans, the interior architect establishes technical drawings of the interior fittings in accordance with the client’s requirements. These proposals are presented to the client as a non-dimensioned ‘PRELIMINARY PLAN’.
04. After the meeting with the clients, the non-dimensioned Final Plan is drawn up.
05. On the basis of this final plan, a detailed estimate of the cost of the work is established. This estimate is approximate and may vary by plus or minus 15%.
Company consultations
01. The interior architect prepares the project, including all the technical drawings (plans, cross-sections and elevations to scale and larger scale plans where necessary) and all the written elements allowing the companies consulted to fully understand the nature, quantity and quality of the work and to provide detailed quotations per trade.
02. Another meeting is organised with (the interior architect and) the client to discuss the development of the project and the choice of materials for the interior decoration.
03. The interior architect and the client visit the different materials and supply outlets together.
04. The interior architect consults the different companies to establish quotations.
05. The interior architect draws up a contract with each chosen company.
ON SITE
01. Management of the different trades on site: electricity, plumbing, air conditioning, plasterboard, carpentry, tiling, bricklaying, etc… detailed verification of the work to be carried out by each trade.
Tracking, surveillance and coordination of the companies chosen.
Site meetings.
Verification of the progress of the work of each company for the duration of the site.
02. Reception of works. The interior architect is present for the reception of works and assists the client if necessary.
