Where Heritage Meets Modern Living
This renovation project took place in a truly exceptional setting: the former office of iconic interior designer Andrée Putman, nestled within a prestigious private mansion in the heart of Paris’s 6th arrondissement. The challenge was to transform this symbolic space into a functional family duplex, while preserving the architectural identity and character of the original site.
Designed as a secondary residence for a family of five, the apartment was entirely reimagined to suit a modern lifestyle.
- On the lower level: an entrance hall, guest WC, a kitchen opening onto a reception-style living room, and a master suite with a private en-suite bathroom.
- Upstairs: two children’s bedrooms, a shared bathroom, a separate toilet, and a TV lounge bathed in natural light, offering breathtaking views over the Seine and the rooftops of Paris.
Every detail was carefully crafted to honor the existing volumes, enhance natural light, and incorporate refined, high-quality materials — striking a perfect balance between Parisian elegance and family comfort.
